It's freezing out there!

Poppa had to work today so we went to the park with only Momma today. OMG! It's absolutely freezing out there and that's coming from someone who wears a fur coat. I'ze got no idea how Momma does it.

It's snowing again. :-)

There's snow! There's snow!

I woke up Poppa this morning around 6:15 cause I needed to peepee really bad. He got up and went downstairs to take me out and guess what? There was snow on the gound. He told me it was supposed to happen last night as I feel asleep with visions of snowflakes dancing in my head but I was doubtful. But it's true. There was snow and it's still snowing. I'ze already been out twice catching flakes on my tongue.

WooHoo!!

The Girl Scout Cookies have arrived. I'ze hoping to get me one after dinner. We received calls this afternoon from our two cookie suppliers while we were at the park. It was gorgeous day for the park today too- 50 degrees - no coat required - other than the fur ones that we wear. We played and pranced for a long time with Sandy and Cooper - it was a Golden party.

Spring is Here!

Yeah, I wish. But I did hear the first sign of Spring this morning. Normally, I'm not a morning pup. If I had it my way, I'd play all night and get out of bed around 10. But this morning I was pleasantly awoken to the song of a bird singing at 6:50. It was like music to my hears. While I don't like the dead of the summer, I love spring. The weather is cool and all the new flowers are out for me to sniff. In the coming days, I'm hoping that I will hear the bird singing some more and that soon all his friends will join him and the flowers will be springing.

We're getting ready for the weekend

The weekend is always our favorite part of the week because we can leave the grueling jobs behind and just relax. Yeah right, who are we kidding. We have it made. The only work we need to do is let Momma know when we need to go pee and nudge Poppa's arm when he stops petting us. Anyway, we just got back from our walk. First we met up with Mabel and her dad and went for a walk around the block while our parents caught up. Then we headed to the park where we ran into Brad, our walker. He was there with these two little yippy kickdogs. Boy, those dogs wouldn't be quiet - that is until Monte barked at them and showed them who the top dogs are. We saw them again later during our walk and there wasn't even a yip out of them. Mission Accomplished. After our walk, Momma talked to Aunt Corey who 1. told her she didn't have our girl scout cookies yet (WTF??? I want my Do-Si-Dos) 2. reminded Momma that Cousin Kitty will be staying over this weekend. We can't wait. We heard that we might get some snow again on Saturday. We'ze not ready for that especially after today's gorgeous weather. It was a whole 42 degrees here today and it's supposed to go up to 47 tomorrow. But regardless of the weather we look forward to having Cousin Kitty over this weekend since we haven't played with her much lately.

It's a winter wonderland

We just got back from playing in the snow at the park. I love the snow. My only wish is that there was more of it like when we lived in Reno. There were more people at the park than we had expected - no other pups however. :-(

A lazy weekend

Poppa came home from being away all week on Friday night. We'ze so glad to have him back home.
When we woke up this morning there was snow outside so we ran out right away to play. We love the snow. Then we all went to the park and had a ton of fun chasing people and other dogs. We'ze also hoping that the extreme cold spell is over now. It's been in the single digits - mid teens all week. It sucks - it's even too cold for us. We don't dare go in the creek in that kind of cold. So we'ze been hibernating and snuggling a ton.
After the park we came home and took all our toys out to play. Look at all the tennie balls my bothers gots. He's spoiled.
We've also spent some time thinking about Girl Scout cookies - we're hearing that they'ze be available this week. The peanut butter and the lemon cookies are my faves.
Now were sittng around watching football and routing for the Cardinals. I really like their mascot.

Aunt Corey is on her way

Momma just told us that Aunt Corey is on her way to pick us up. Momma is going to Richmond for the weekend and Aunt Corey is taking us to her house til Poppa gets home later. Rumor has is that Uncle Crumley's friend Mike will be visiting and he likes pups. We'ze hoping to take full advantage of his pettings. We also get to have dinner with the girls which means there will be extras for us. :-) See you on Sunday Momma.

We got soaked today!

I sure would have thought that I was in Ireland today. It rained all day long but Momma took us to the park anyway. Look how soaked I got.

OMG!

Momma and Poppa gave us a surprise party today. We didn't know anything about it til Momma came back from the store with balloons. There was 15 of us here. It was so exciting and total choas. Momma left the door to the yard open and all the pups were allowed to run in and out of the house the entire time. It was pretty great watching all the pups running around like crazy. The puppyparents just stood around in awe and told our parents how they'd never allow this many dogs in their house at one time. What can I say? We have the coolest parents ever. Most of our friends from the park were here and even a couple of our friends from Aunt Corey's house. Carley the poodle got herself a boyfriend- Elvis the hounddog. They make such a cute couple. Our friend Duke was great. He was the life of the party. He went around chatting with all the other pups, making sure everyone was having a good time which was really great of him since he didn't know anyone but us and Rocky. Rocky was great too. He played a ton. He loves kiddie pools and Momma wanted to fill it up for him but Poppa discouraged that idea given the cold weather. Sandy the golden showed all the pups her new trick. You ask her if she wants a cookie and she raises her hand.
Carley is still here playing and Momma talked to Cole's mom and she'll be over to play tomorrow. We're watching the Chargers game now and Poppa said he's gonna let us sleep in bed tonight. It's like a big birthday weekend!!!
Thanks to all my friends that came today - Carley, Zoey, Mabel, Chunk, Diogee, Chippee, Cooper, Elvis, Rocky, Duke, Lady, Amber and Sandy.

It's Our Birthday!!!!!!!!!

We'ze 4 years old today.

HAPPY NEW YEARS

What's your resolution?
I'm gonna try to be cuter than ever.
And I started that last night after coming home from aunt corey's house and jumping in momma and poppa's bed. As they stood there talking about me; poppa right in front of me and momma in the doorway; I just rested by head on the bed and put on my best sad puppy dog eyes and moved my eyes back and forth between them as they discussed why letting me sleep in bed was a bad idea but how cute I was and they couldn't possibly kick me off. :-)
Let's see how I use my charm today. Oh I think I just did. I am still in bed. I charmed momma into bringing me the laptop to bed so I could type from here. Maybe I can get her to bring me breakfast in bed too.
