Roadtrip

We all got in the car early yesterday morning and headed for OHIO. We arrived! It was a nice ride - not too long and we stopped to peepee a couple of times. (Poppa has a tiny bladder). Poppa took us for walk yesterday afternoon and managed to return with a mini me version of Monte (ok, the mini me was a chihuahua but it was the same color as Monte). This little kick dog must have gotten out of his house and decided to chase us cause he wanted to play with the big dogs. Momma walked around the neighborhood with him and luckily found his Momma. The pups name was Elmo. As for today, I think Uncle Ditz has a load of puppa friendly activities lined up. Can't wait! We sat outside on the front porch this morning. That was a ton of fun, We really liked being able to sit out there and watch people go by. We'ze need a front porch.

It's been a whirlwind last few weeks. In the span of three weeks Poppa was gone, then he returned for a day and then left with Momma. After a couple of days Momma returned without Poppa and left again 2 days later. Poppa came back 2 days after that (last Thursday) and Momma was back on Saturday. Now Poppa left again today. He will be back on Thursday and then we are all going on a family trip to visit Aunt Jen and Uncle Ditz. Can you keep this all straight? In the meantime I keep getting chauffeured back and forth to aunt Corey's house. Luckily Poppa came home on Thursday because Aunt Corey was running out of poop bags. On one of our walks with Momma when she was home last week spotted out first chipmunk, we tried to follow him into a tipped over empty garbage can but just to say hello but Momma pulled us away. Tonight three bunny friends were hanging out in the back yard. I went over to say hello and they ran away! I think they'ze though I was grumpy Monte who is always chasing them out of the yard. The silver lining to all this travel is that I'ze been sleeping in bed every night!

Happy Mother's Day to Momma, Aunt Corey, Grandma and all the other momma's!

I'ze know I'ze been horrible at updatin' my blog but I'ze been bust livin' life. On Friday night we'ze had a quiet night at home with Momma. Poppa went to Uncle Crumley's to watch the game and we stayed in with Momma and watched a chick flick. Saturday afternoon Aunt Corey and the fam came over for a bbq - it was a scorcher that day. My sister Sporkie even came outside to enjoy the weather. She's got a little pen than Momma puts her in cause Sporkie is a little runaway. Our neighbors came over too - there were four little blonde girls running around the yard. We'ze loved it cause it meant more pettins' for us and more possibilty to steal a kid's unattended food! (Kids aren't very good at paying attention to their food). Momma and Poppa were home with us most of the day on Sunday but Momma had Poppa doing all kinds of chores and we'ze were neglected ALL day!! But even though we was neglected, we'ze glad we'ze got to stay inside where the AC was running cause it was like a million degrees out. Sunday night the unimaginable happened - Poppa took out the suitcase. Poppa says he had to go to Florida for a few days - I'ze not buying that cause he said he's there next week again. So Poppa is off somewhere now and we'ze sleeping in bed all night cause we wouldn't want Momma to get lonely. We'ze just got back from the park and we met a new pup. Her name is Honey and she lives 4 houses down from us. We'ze seen her before but never met. She's very nice. We'ze hoping to see her around again soon. That's enough for now. Momma is preparing my dinner so I better go. I am very hungry - no icy cream for us today.
