Return of Bat

Sporkie, Tan Tan and Pappa were right. It started Friday night, after me, Monte and Momma went to bed. Pappa came up and said that Tanny told him there was something in our air ducks (who knew we had ducks?). Pappa woke up Mamma, and let her listen in. He said it was a bird or a bat.... he checked the basement, but couldn't find any signs of anythin' unusual... so we'ze just went back to bed. Last night the fun really began. Belfry made a grand appearance in the house... and pappa turned into a girly man again. He couldn't catch Belfry, so he sent mamma to do the man's job.... mamma also tried to call a couple of other men in, but nobody was available to help - so she took matters into her own hands, chasing Belfry around the living room with a towel.... as the video clearly shows, mamma needs to work on her vertical leap - because she'd never be able to reach Belfry! Anyways.... mamma caught him eventually, and set him free outside.. reminding him that his house is up in the tree, not inside our house! We'ze not sure how he got in, but we'ze think's it's because our main bathroom is torn apart as mamma and pappa are remodeling it. Can't wait for that to be done, although we love the pettins Dale gives us every day when he comes over to work!

we are sitting in the sunroom with Momma in the dark with the outside lights on. I'ze really sick of the snow. It's giving me cabin fever but sitting in here, watching the snow fall outside is like being in a big snowglobe.

We had a visitor this morning. He was sitting in out front window looking in. I'ze think he wanted Momma to turn on the tv so he could watch the weather and find out how much more snow was coming our way.
