DogFight

We'ze went to Aunt Corey's yesterday to visit Cole. While we were there the icy cream truck came by. Momma got a cone for me and my brother. Cole was jealous. Momma made a cone for her too. BAD IDEA!! Monte wasn't thrilled about that. He's still mad at Momma. How dare she?? So he let Cole and Momma have a piece. Thank goodness for the fence in between Cole and my brother. Otherwise we'ze would have had to take a trip to the Puppy ER. Momma will never make that mistake again.

Momma's Back

Momma was away with the girls from Richmond. We missed her. Aunt CF sent us a frisbee!! YAY! We'ze played with it already the first night when she got home. Monte really loves it! Momma also brought us apples from her trip - delish.

When Momma's Away...

the pups will play! Aunt Corey felt bad for us that our momma left us so she gave us a special treat tonight! Daddy brought us over here in the clown car, there was lots of kids here to scare! We just barked with Rocky in the backyard, now we'ze startin to wonder how we'ze gettin home cause that little car didn't work so good for us! *Aunt Corey helped me write this, she isn't very good with the correct pronunciation of our words!

We saw Kobe today

Momma took us the park today. We had so much fun. We played with our friend Kobe who is a golden retriever also. We also met up with several other pups. Today we went around 6:30 which isn't the usual 3 pm walk. There are many more dogs this time of night and it's a lot cooler. Momma said she'd try taking us later whenever she could. Although yesterday we'ze was really hot when we got back and Momma let us have a tiny but of sorbet!! This weekend Momma is going to visit the gals in Richmond. When Momma's away we'ze gonna play! Pappa's not so good w/ the rules! Momma is leaving Pappa a huge list of chores to do and icy cream money!!

EARTH DAY

It's Earth Day today. We'ze need trees because they provide us with the oxygen we need to breathe. So be kind and give a tree a hug!

Here are some suggestions -

Change to halogen bulbs - incandescent light bulbs are inefficient.. You can save money, energy and the environment snip six pack rings - they can entangle birds, fish, and small animals reduce you use of plastic bags - keep cloth bags in your car and use them when you go grocery shopping recycle

use less disposable items and more permanent ones like silverware and dishes use less water - take showers not bath, fix leaks, don't let the water run when you brush your teeth and shave

turn off lights you don't need

The Gramps Visit

We'ze had so much fun yesterday!! Grandma and Grandpa came over and we loved it. They should come over more often cause Grandma gave us treats the entire time she was here!!! Pappa made frozen margarita - wow they are yummy!! Monte stuck his tongue in some olive oil and thought it was disgusting! Earlier in the week Mamma asked Pappa to tell her what he'd like her to pick up at the grocery store. Pappa didn't which led to Mamma having to run out twice while they were here for stuff. Boy was Mamma ticked at Pappa. Grandma and Grandpa came over for Grandpa's birthday - he's gonna be sixty tomorrow. The best part of the night was when Pappa gave Grandpa his birthday card and Pappa didn't sign Mamma's name to it. Grandpa was very quick to point that out. hehehe

My Pool

It's been almost 80 the last couple of day so Momma bought a pool for me and my brother. I'm not so sure about it. It reminds me of the tub. And I don't like getting baths. So for right now we're just using it as a bog bowl. Maybe if Grandma gets in it with us tomorrow, we'll try it out.

... was here yesterday and today!!! It hadn't been here in two weeks. Momma asked the driver what the deal was and apparently she doesn't get to this part of the route during the school year. So we'll only see her on the weekends and everyday once school is out. I got weighed the other day and I am 85lbs. Let see how much I weigh at the end of the summer. :0) Although I am sure that Momma is going to kick up the number of times I need to go for a run to counter the effect of all the icy cream. But it's worth it and I love going for runs anyway!

isn't it pretty? my brother and I love to spend time laying in it's shade. And sometimes when the wind blows really hard flowers fall off and it's like it's raining flowers. We love our yard.

hehehe... guess who went mudding today?

You should have seen the look on momma's face as I was walking into the creek and decided to walk directly through a foot of mud. Priceless. But mud and all - I'ze still cute! By the way, when I got out I proceeded to stand close to momma and shake some mud off on her. I told her to think of it as a mud wrap like the ones you can get at the salon.

Momma got us a cool hummingbird feeder this weekend. We keep checking but no hummingbirds yet. :-(

I say there's no hummingbirds in Jersey. Poppa says there must be.

Aunt Corey is the BEST!

The icy cream truck hasn't been here since last Saturday!!

Last night we'ze went to Aunt Corey's for dinner and Aunt Corey gave us icy cream!! Aunt Corey is so much nicer than Momma. Momma makes us split one but Aunt Corey stood her ground and demanded that we each got a cone of our own. And she made sure that she packed it down in the cone so we didn't just get a measly little scoop on the top of the cone and nothing inside. It may have been the best time that we've ever had at her house! We can't wait to go back. Hopefully this will become a regular routine. :-) We love you Aunt Corey!

Today

Today didn't start off well. It was rainy all day and the icy cream truck didn't come for the third day in a row! Can you believe the nerve?? But it got much better around 6:15 when momma cut out of the gym because it was beautiful out and she decided that she'd rather be in the park with us. And we just got home!! We're exhausted. We played with three other goldens, a lab, two beagles, an akita and a schnauzer. We also went in the creak cause it's 70!! It was fun.
