EARTH DAY - TUESDAY, APRIL 22

This Tuesday is Earth Day. Since the first Earth Day, April 22, 1970, Earth Day has been an annual event for people around the world to celebrate the earth and renew our commitment to building a safer, healthier and cleaner world for all of us. There are many ways you can get involved.
Here are some suggestions -
Change to halogen bulbs - incandescent light bulbs are inefficient.. You can save money, energy and the environment snip six pack rings - they can entangle birds, fish, and small animals reduce you use of plastic bags - keep cloth bags in your car and use them when you go grocery shopping recycle
use less disposable items and more permanent ones like silverware and dishes use less water - take showers not bath, fix leaks, don't let the water run when you brush your teeth and shave
turn off lights you don't need
What are you going to do to help the Earth? I want to hear from you. Write to me!
